 (3)  S 432-031Install the sleeve in the support plate recess.
 (4)  S 432-032Push the seal door shaft through the inboard support plate, inboard sleeve, lever assembly, outboard sleeve, and outboard support plate.
 (5)  S 432-033Put the collar on the shaft.
 (6)  S 432-034Install the bolt through the collar and the shaft.
 (7)  S 432-035Tighten the bolt to 20-25 pound-inches.
 (8)  S 862-036Put a load on the spring (for the inboard and outboard spring): (a) Remove the three bolts from the support plate and rib. (b) With the lever on the seal door stop and no tension on the spring, install a steel pin in the support plate (Detail C). (c) Use an open end wrench on the support plate, move the support plate in the direction of the preload arrow (20 degrees approximately). (d) Engage the spring in the stop bracket. (e) Remove the steel pin from the support plate. (f) Turn the support plate to permit the installation of the 3/16-inch bolts. (g) Tighten the bolts to 20-25 pound-inches.
 (9)  S 432-042Connect the link assembly to the lever assembly.

 Tighten the bolt to 50-75 pound-inches. S 862-044

 Manually put the seal door aft of the Krueger flap. S 432-045

 (12)
 Install the cam roller on the seal door. S 862-037

 (13)
 Tighten the bolt to 60-85 pound-inches.

 WARNING:_______CAREFULLY REMOVE THE LEADING EDGE FLAP ACTUATOR LOCKS. THE LEADING EDGE FLAPS CAN MOVE QUICKLY IF YOU DO NOT REMOVE THE LOCKS CORRECTLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

 (1)  
Make sure the adjustment of the Krueger flaps is correct
 (Ref 27-81-00/501).

 (2)  
Adjust the seal door (Fig. 201):

 (a)  
Pressurize hydraulic system B (Ref 27-81-00/201).

 (b)  
Move the flap control lever to the 1-unit detent to extend the leading edge flaps.

 (c)  
Remove the cam roller (Detail D).

 (d)  
Remove the cam shim from below the cam, found on the outboard end of the outboard Krueger flap.
