Remove the seal door (Fig. 201):
(a)
Remove the cam roller.
(b)
Disconnect the link assembly from the seal door assembly (Detail B).
NOTE:____There is tension on the spring. Hold the link assembly while you remove the fasteners.
(c)
Remove the six bolts that connect the seal door assembly to the hinge assembly.

Procedure

(1)
Install the seal door (Fig. 201):
(a)
Connect the seal door assembly to the hinge assembly with six bolts.
NOTE:____There is tension on the spring. Hold the link assembly while you install the fasteners.
(b)
Tighten the bolt to 50-75 pound-inches.
(c)
Manually put the seal door aft of the Krueger flap.
(d)
Install the cam roller on the seal door.
(e)
Tighten the bolt to 60-85 pound-inches.
(2)
Manually retract the seal door to the fixed leading edge structure.

WARNING:_______CAREFULLY REMOVE THE LEADING EDGE FLAP ACTUATOR LOCKS. THE LEADING EDGE FLAPS CAN MOVE QUICKLY IF YOU DO NOT REMOVE THE LOCKS CORRECTLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(3)
Remove the leading edge flap actuator locks from the actuators of the leading edge flaps (Ref 27-81-00/201).

Pressurize hydraulic system B (Ref 27-81-00/201).

Move the flap control lever to the FLAP UP detent.

Release the pressure from hydraulic system B (Ref 27-81-00/201).
