Turn the right AOA vane slowly CCW (trailing edge down) to the lower stop.
(c)
Make sure that the LE slats do not move from the intermediate extend position.
(d)
Push and hold the GROUND SENSING test switch on the E-11 landing gear logic shelf.
(e)
Make sure that the LE slats move to the full extend position.
(f)
Make sure that the green LE FLAPS EXT light on the P2-2 panel is off.
(g)
Make sure that the amber LE FLAPS TRANSIT light on the P2-2 panel is on.
(h)
Push and hold the NOSE SENSING and AIR SENSING test switches on the E-11 shelf (continue to hold the GROUND SENSING test switch).
NOTE: Control columns should vibrate.

(i)
Make sure that the LE FLAPS TRANSIT light is off.
(j)
Make sure that the LE FLAPS EXT light is on.
(k)
Release the NOSE SENSING test switch.
NOTE: The vibration on the control column should stop.

(l)
Make sure that the LE FLAPS EXT light goes off approximately 12 seconds after you release the NOSE SENSING test switch.
(m)
Make sure that the LE FLAPS TRANSIT light comes on.
(n)
Release the GROUND SENSING test switch.
(o)
Make sure that the LE slats stay in the full extend position.
(p)
Release the AIR SENSING test switch.
(q)
Make sure that the LE slats retract to the intermediate extend position.
(r)
Make sure that the LE FLAPS TRANSIT light goes off.
(s)
Make sure that the LE FLAPS EXT light comes on.

Do a check of the indicator lights:
(a)
Open the AUTOSLAT NO. 2 DC circuit breaker on the P6 circuit breaker panel.
(b)
Make sure that these lights are off: 1) Left and right MASTER CAUTION (P7 pilots' lightshield)

Push one of the master caution annunciators.
1) Make sure that the AUTOSLAT FAIL light, the FLT CONT light, and the two MASTER CAUTION lights are on.
(d)
Push one of the MASTER CAUTION lights.
1) Make sure that the AUTOSLAT FAIL light, the FLT CONT light, and the two MASTER CAUTION lights are off.
(e)
Close the AUTOSLAT NO. 2 DC circuit breaker on the P6 circuit breaker panel.

Do a check of the system operation:
(a)
Turn the left AOA vane slowly CW (trailing edge down) to the lower stop.
(b)
Turn the right AOA vane slowly CW (trailing edge up) to the upper stop.
(c)
Make sure that the LE slats do not move from the intermediate extend position.
(d)
Push and hold the GROUND SENSING test switch on the E-11 landing gear logic shelf.

Make sure that the LE slats move to the full extend position.
(f)
Make sure that the green LE FLAPS EXT light on the P2-2 panel is off.
(g)
Make sure that the amber LE FLAPS TRANSIT light on the P2-2 panel is on.
(h)
Push and hold the NOSE SENSING and AIR SENSING test switches on the E-11 shelf (continue to hold the GROUND SENSING test switch).
(i)
Make sure that the LE FLAPS TRANSIT light is off.
(j)
Make sure that the LE FLAPS EXT light is on.
(k)
Release the NOSE SENSING test switch.
(l)
Make sure that the LE FLAPS EXT light goes off approximately 12 seconds after you release the NOSE SENSING test switch.
(m)
Make sure that the LE FLAPS TRANSIT light comes on.
(n)
Release the GROUND SENSING test switch.
