3) Use the milliohmmeter to make sure the resistance of the bonding jumper connection is less that 0.10 ohms.
(5) S 714-015Move the spoiler panel through its full travel. (a) Make sure the spoiler panel moves freely.
(6) S 434-016Install the bolt that attaches the rod end for the spoiler actuator to the spoiler: (a) Apply a layer of the BMS 3-24 grease to the bolt. (b) Install the bolt with its head outboard. (c) Install the washers and the nut on the bolt. (d) Tighten the nut to 660-780 pound-inches. (e) Apply the BMS 3-24 grease to the bolt, washer, and nut.
(7) S 864-017Make sure the hydraulic power is not on.

CAUTION: INSPECT THE LOCK WIRE AND LOCKING KEY OF THE SPOILER ACTUATOR
_______ AFTER REMOVAL OF THE GROUND LOCK TOOL. IF YOU SEE DAMAGE REPLACE THE LOCKING KEY OR LOCK WIRE. FAILURE TO INSPECT THE LOCK WIRE AND LOCKING KEY CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE AIRPLANE.

Make sure the clearance between the spoiler panel and the wing structure is 0.40 |0.05 inch at the aft end of the spoiler panel.

0.70 |0.10 inch.

Make sure the clearance between the seals on the adjacent spoilers is 0.000 to 0.020 inch.
