Move the flap control lever to the UP detent and let all flaps and slats retract.

Do a check of the indicator lights for the autoslat system:
(a)
Make sure that the AUTOSLAT FAIL light (P5 panel) is off.
(b)
Push and hold the AUTOSLAT FAIL light.
1) Make sure that the AUTOSLAT FAIL light is on.
(c)
Release the AUTOSLAT FAIL light.
1) Make sure that the AUTOSLAT FAIL light is off.
(d)
Set the LIGHTS switch (P1 or P2 panel) to TEST. 1) Make sure that the left and right MASTER CAUTION lights (P7 pilots' lightshield) are on. 2) Make sure that the FLT CONT light (on the left master
caution annunciator, P7 pilots' lightshield) is on. 3) Make sure that the AUTOSLAT FAIL light (P5 panel) is on.
(e)
Set the LIGHTS switch to BRT.
(f)
Push one of the two MASTER CAUTION lights (this does a master caution reset). 1) Make sure that the AUTOSLAT FAIL light, the FLT CONT light,
