4) Make sure that the LE FLAPS EXT light comes on.
(r)
Turn the left AOA sensor clockwise to -25 |5°.
(s)
Open the AUTOSLAT NO. 2 AC circuit breaker. 1) Make sure that the PWR OK light on ASC 2 is off.
(t)
Push the master caution RECALL button.
1) Make sure that the AUTOSLAT FAIL, MASTER CAUTION, and FLT CONT lights are on.
(u)
Push the master caution RESET button.
1) Make sure that the AUTOSLAT FAIL, MASTER CAUTION, and FLT CONT lights are off.
(v)
Push and hold the GROUND SENSING test switch. 1) Make sure that the slats do not move. 2) Make sure that the AUTO EXT light on ASC 2 is off.
(w)
Open the AUTOSLAT NO. 1 AC circuit breaker on the P6 panel. 1) Make sure that the PWR OK light on ASC 1 is off. 2) Make sure that the AUTOSLAT FAIL, MASTER CAUTION, and FLT
CONT lights are on.
(x)
Push the master caution RESET button.
1) Make sure that the MASTER CAUTION and FLT CONT lights are off.
(y)
Close the AUTOSLAT NO. 1 AC and AUTOSLAT NO. 2 AC circuit breakers on the P6 panel. 1) Make sure that the PWR OK light on each ASC is on. 2) Make sure that the AUTO EXT light on ASC 2 is on. 3) Make sure that the LE FLAPS EXT and AUTOSLAT FAIL lights
are off. 4) Make sure that the LE FLAPS TRANSIT light comes on.
(z)
Push the master caution RECALL button. 1) Make sure that the AUTOSLAT FAIL light is off.
(aa) Push and hold the NOSE SENSING and AIR SENSING test switches. 1) Make sure that the LE FLAPS TRANSIT light goes off. 2) Make sure that the LE FLAPS EXT light comes on.
(ab) Turn the right AOA sensor counterclockwise to -25 |5°. 1) Make sure that the AUTO EXT light on each ASC is off. 2) Make sure that the slats move to the (intermediate) extend
position.
(ac) Monitor the AUTO EXT light on each ASC and the LE FLAPS EXT light. 1) Move the flap control lever to the 15-unit detent. 2) Make sure that as the slats start to extend, the LE FLAPS
EXT light goes off and the LE FLAPS TRANSIT light comes on.
3) Make sure that as the slats come to the full extend position, the LE FLAPS TRANSIT light goes off and the LE FLAPS EXT light comes on.
4) Make sure that approximately 5 seconds after the LE FLAPS EXT light comes on, the AUTO EXT light on each ASC comes on for approximately 1.5 seconds.
5) Make sure that the TE flaps move to the 15-unit position. (ad) Release the AIR SENSING, GROUND SENSING, and NOSE SENSING test switches. (ae) Move the flap control lever to the 1-unit detent.

Do a test of the AOA vane angle for autoslat operation (flaps 1° trip and hysteresis and ground bias washout):
(a)
Make sure that the SLAT 1 thru 6 EXT lights on the LE devices annunciator panel are on.
(b)
Make sure that the LE FLAPS EXT light is on.
(c)
Push and hold the GROUND SENSING, AIR SENSING, and NOSE SENSING test switches (E-11 shelf).
(d)
Slowly turn the left AOA sensor counterclockwise.
1) Make sure that the slats move to the full extend position when the AOA sensor is at +5.8 |0.5° + aerodynamic offset.
NOTE: The slats take 3 |1 seconds to move from the
____ (intermediate) extend position to the full extend position.
2) Make sure that the AUTO EXT light on ASC 1 is on and the
AUTO EXT light on ASC 2 is off. 3) Make sure that the PWR OK light on ASC 1 is on. 4) Make sure that the LE FLAPS EXT is on.
(e)
Push the master caution RECALL button.
1) Make sure that the AUTOSLAT FAIL light is off.
(f)
Slowly turn the left AOA sensor clockwise until the AUTO EXT light on ASC 1 goes off. 1) Make sure that the slats move to the (intermediate) extend
