CAUTION:_______DO NOT LET HYDRAULIC FLUID GET ON EQUIPMENT. IF HYDRAULIC FLUID GETS ON EQUIPMENT, IMMEDIATELY CLEAN IT FROM THE EQUIPMENT. HYDRAULIC FLUID CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

Put a container below the shutoff valve to catch the hydraulic fluid.

Carefully turn and pull directly up on the shutoff valve to remove it from the modular package.

Install the five O-rings with the backup rings on the shutoff valve.

Lightly lubricate the O-rings and the backup rings with hydraulic fluid or assembly lube.

Carefully put the shutoff valve in the modular package.

(4)
Install the four bolts that attach the shutoff valve to the modular package.

Tighten the bolts to 30-40 pound-inches.

Install lockwire on the four bolts.

(7)
Connect the electrical connector to the valve motor.

Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close these circuit breakers:
(a)
P6-2 Circuit Breaker Panel
1) FLAP SHUTOFF VALVES

Do a test of the shutoff valve.
(10)
Fill the hydraulic reservoir if it is necessary (Ref 12-12-00/301).

Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
(a)
P6-2 Circuit Breaker Panel
1) FLAP SHUTOFF VALVES

Disconnect the electrical connector from the valve motor.

(3)
Put the flap shutoff valve lever to position 2.

(4)
Remove the four screws that attach the valve motor to the shutoff valve.

(5)
Remove the valve motor from the shutoff valve.
