(h) Set the alternate flap control switch to the UP position. Hold the switch at this position until the motor of the trailing edge flap stops.
NOTE: The limit switch controls the retraction of the trailing

edge.
(i)
Make sure the leading edge flaps and slats stay in the fully extended position.
(j)
Move the flap control lever to the FLAP UP detent.
(k)
Set the alternate flap control switch to the OFF position.
WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF THE
_______ LEADING EDGE CONTROL SURFACES. THE LEADING EDGE FLAPS AND SLATS WILL RETRACT WITH THE TRAILING EDGE FLAPS BECAUSE OF SYSTEM B PRESSURIZATION. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(l) Set the alternate flap arm switch to the OFF position.

Do a test on the uncommanded extension of the leading edge flaps and slats with the standby hydraulic power (paragraph 3).

Make sure that the alternate flap arm switch on the forward overhead panel (P5) is in the OFF position.
(c)
Make sure that the switch guard is closed.
WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF THE
_______ LEADING EDGE FLAPS AND SLATS. THE LEADING EDGE FLAPS AND SLATS CAN MOVE QUICKLY AND CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(d)
Move the flap control lever to the FLAP UP detent.
(e)
Make sure that the leading edge flaps and slats and the trailing edge flaps are retracted.
(f)
Release the pressure from hydraulic systems A and B (AMM 27-81-00/201).
CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT THE ALTERNATE FLAP DRIVE UNIT IS LIMITED TO
