Put the flap control lever to the FLAP UP detent.

After 5 minutes, release the pressure from hydraulic system B (Ref 27-81-00/201).

Remove the lower pan from the flap control unit.

Install rig pin F-1 in the flap control unit (Fig. 501).

(b)
Loosen the checknut.
(c)
Remove the rod end bolt of the cam follower arm.
(d)
Turn the rod end in one half turn increments to get the adjustment.
(e)
Install the rod end bolt.
(f)
Make sure the valve slide and the index surface align to a range of |0.010 inch.
(g)
Install the washer and locknut.
(h)
Tighten the checknut.
(i)
Install the lockwire.
(j)
Make sure that you can see not more than 1.00 inch of the rod end threads (Fig. 501).

Remove the rig pin F-1.

(3)
Install the lower pan on the flap control unit.

(4)
Do a test of the control valve.
