 (n)  Attach the actuator to the slat with bolt, bushing, washers and
 nut (View B-B, Fig. 401).
 NOTE:____ The clamp-up bushing, bolthead, and retainer must be on
 same side.  Install one chamfered (45 degrees) washer
 between rib flange and nut at slat No. 1 and slat No. 6
 (Slat Station 319.90) only.  Install the washer with its
 chamfered side pointing to the rib flange.
 (o)  Tighten the nut to 540-600 pound-inches.

Install the access panel and seal on the slat at the actuator rod end.

Install the actuator door on the actuator:

 (a)  
Align the holes on the actuator door with the actuator.

 (b)  
Loosely install the bolts.

 (c)  
Make sure that the rod end seal is attached to the clips under the door.

 (d)  
Pull the door down as far as the holes will permit.

 (e)  
Tighten the bolts sufficiently to keep the door in its position.

 Retract the slats.

 Lightly move the actuator door up into the retracted position.

 Operate the slats and flaps a minimum of two full cycles to bleed air from the system.

 Do a test of the leading edge slat standby hydraulic system:

 (a)  
Move the flap control lever to the FLAP UP detent.

 (b)  
Supply electrical power (Ref 24-22-00/201).

 1)  Make sure that power is available on No. 1 and 2 generator buses.

 (c)  
Make sure these switches are in the OFF positions:
 1) The alternate flap arm switch
 2) The System A Flight Control switch
