2) Make sure that as the slats start to retract, the SLATS 1 thru 6 FULL EXT lights go off and the SLATS 1 thru 6 TRANSIT lights come on.
3) Make sure that when the slats are at the (intermediate) extend position, the SLATS 1 thru 6 TRANSIT lights go off and the SLATS 1 thru 6 EXT lights come on.

Release the GROUND SENSING, AIR SENSING, and NOSE SENSING test switches.
(h)
Slowly turn the left AOA sensor clockwise 1.0 |0.5° from its present position.
(i)
Push and hold the GROUND SENSING test switch.
1) Make sure that the AUTO EXT light on ASC 1 comes on for approximately 0.5 to 2.5 seconds.
(j)
Release the GROUND SENSING test switch.
(k)
Turn the left AOA sensor clockwise to -25 |5°.

Push and hold the GROUND SENSING, AIR SENSING, and NOSE SENSING test switches.
(m)
Slowly turn the right AOA sensor clockwise.
1) Make sure that the slats move to the full extend position when the AOA sensor is at +5.8 |0.5° - aerodynamic offset.
NOTE: The slats take 3 |1 seconds to move from the
____ (intermediate) extend position to the full extend position.
2) Make sure that the AUTO EXT light on ASC 2 is on and the
AUTO EXT light on ASC 1 is off. 3) Make sure that the PWR OK light on ASC 2 is on. 4) Make sure that the LE FLAPS EXT is on.
(n)
Push the master caution RECALL button.
1) Make sure that the AUTOSLAT FAIL light is off.
(o)
Slowly turn the right AOA sensor counterclockwise until the AUTO EXT light on ASC 2 goes off. 1) Make sure that the slats move to the (intermediate) extend
position when the AOA sensor is at +5.1 |0.5° - aerodynamic offset.

Release the GROUND SENSING test switch.
(t)
Turn the right AOA sensor counterclockwise to -25 |5°.
(u)
Push the master caution RESET button.

Prepare for the test of the autoslat dynamic-alpha-compare mode:

Move the No. 1 and No. 2 thrust levers to the aft stop.

Make sure that the ANTISKID switch on the P2 panel is in the ON position.
(c)
Set the selector switch on the antiskid control unit (in the electronic compartment) to LO.
