1. General_______
A. This procedure contains two tasks, one for the removal and one for the installation of the autoslat control valve.
B. The autoslat valve is found at the aft end of the right ram air duct bay. You can get access to it through the right underwing fairing access panel.

Release the pressure in the hydraulic systems (AMM 27-81-00/201).

Remove the autoslat control valve:
(a)
Disconnect the 4 hydraulic lines at the valve.
(b)
Disconnect the 2 electrical connectors from the valve.
(c)
Hold the valve while you remove the 3 bolts.
(d)
Remove the valve.

(3) Install plugs in the hydraulic lines and caps on the hydraulic fittings.
