NOTE: It is satisfactory if the ANTISKID INOP light on the
____ P2 panel comes on. The INOP light does not change the results of this test.
WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT YOU RELEASE THE PRESSURE IN HYDRAULIC
_______ SYSTEM B. IF HYDRAULIC SYSTEM B IS PRESSURIZED, AUTOMATIC MOVEMENT OF THE LE SLATS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT OR INJURY TO PERSONNEL.
(d)
Release the pressure in hydraulic system B (AMM 27-81-00/201).
(e)
Turn the left and right AOA sensors to 0 |0.5°.

Do a test of the dynamic-alpha-compare mode of ASC 1:
(a)
Open the LANDING GEAR AIR/GND RELAY & LTS circuit breaker on the P6 panel.
(b)
Push the LW and SKID buttons on the antiskid control unit for five seconds. 1) Make sure that the alpha COMPARE HIGH and LOW lights on
each ASC are off.
(c)
Push and hold the LW and SKID buttons on the antiskid control unit. 1) Slowly turn the right AOA sensor clockwise until the alpha
COMPARE LOW on ASC 1 and alpha COMPARE HIGH on ASC 2 come on. 2) After five seconds release the LW and SKID buttons.
(d)
Slowly turn the left AOA sensor counterclockwise to 3.0 |0.5°.
1) Make sure that the alpha COMPARE LOW light on ASC 1 and the alpha COMPARE HIGH light on ASC 2 are on.
(e)
Push the RESET button on each ASC.
1) Make sure that the alpha COMPARE LOW light on ASC 1 and the alpha COMPARE HIGH light on ASC 2 are off.
(f)
Push and hold the LW and SKID buttons on the antiskid control unit. 1) Slowly turn the left AOA sensor counterclockwise until the
alpha COMPARE HIGH light on ASC 1 and the alpha COMPARE LOW light on ASC 2 come on.
NOTE: If only one alpha COMPARE light comes on, turn the
____ left AOA sensor counterclockwise and make sure that the second light comes on in 1.0 degree of rotation.
2) Make sure that the AUTO EXT light on ASC 1 is on. 3) After five seconds release the LW and SKID buttons. 4) Make sure that the left AOA sensor is at 6.0 |0.5°.

Do a test of the autoslat fail indication:
(a)
Push the master caution RECALL button.
1) Make sure that the AUTOSLAT FAIL light comes on.
(b)
Push the master caution RESET button.
1) Make sure that the AUTOSLAT FAIL light goes off.
2) Push the RESET button on ASC 1.
(c)
Push the master caution RECALL button.
1) Make sure that the AUTOSLAT FAIL light comes on.
(d)
Push the master caution RESET button.
1) Make sure that the AUTOSLAT FAIL light goes off.
(e)
Push the RESET button on ASC 2.
(f)
Push the master caution RECALL button. 1) Make sure that the AUTOSLAT FAIL light stays off. 2) Push the master caution RESET button.

Do a test with the No. 2 autoslat computer deactivated:
(a)
Open the AUTOSLAT NO. 2 DC circuit breaker on the P6 panel. 1) Make sure that the PWR OK light on ASC 2 is off.
(b)
Push the master caution RECALL button.
1) Make sure that the AUTOSLAT FAIL light is on.
(c)
Push the LW and SKID buttons on the antiskid control unit for five seconds.
(d)
Turn the left and right AOA sensors to 0 |0.5°.
1) Make sure that the alpha COMPARE HIGH and LOW lights on ASC 1 and ASC 2 are off.
(e)
Close the AUTOSLAT NO. 2 DC circuit breaker on the P6 panel. 1) Make sure that the PWR OK light on ASC 2 is on. 2) Make sure that the AUTOSLAT FAIL light is off.
(f)
Push the master caution RECALL button. 1) Make sure that the AUTOSLAT FAIL light stays off.
(g)
Push the MASTER CAUTION RESET button.
