Install the clamp-up bushing and bolt with a washer on each side.

Install the locknut.

Tighten the locknut to 300-450 pound-inches.

Remove the plugs from the hydraulic lines.
(h)
Seal all the ports with caps.
(i)
Connect the hydraulic lines to the support bracket.
(j)
Install the lockwire on the nuts.

Install the bolt with a washer below the bolt head.
1) Make sure you install bolthead in the directions shown in Fig. 401.
(c)
Put a washer below the nut.
(d)
Tighten the nut to 660-780 pound-inches.
(e)
Align the cotter pin hole in the bolt with the slot in the nut.
(f)
Install the cotter pin.

1) Make sure that power is available on the No. 1 and 2 generator buses.

Make sure these switches are in the OFF positions: 1) The aternate flap arm switch 2) The System A Flight Control switch 3) The System B Flight Control switch
(d)
Set the alternate flap arm switch to the ARM position.
