_______ SURFACES BEFORE YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. AILERONS, RUDDERS, ELEVATORS, FLAPS, SLATS, SPOILERS, LANDING GEAR, AND THRUST REVERSERS CAN MOVE QUICKLY WHEN YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(2) Supply hydraulic power to system B (AMM 27-81-00/201).

(a)
P6 Panel
1) STBY HYD PUMP NORMAL
2) STBY HYD PUMP ALT
3) HYD SYSTEM PTU/LG BYP V CONT 1
4) HYD SYSTEM PTU/LG BYP V CONT 2
(b)
P18 Panel
1) LEFT ALPHA VANE HEATER
2) RIGHT ALPHA VANE HEATER

Make sure these circuit breakers are closed:
(a)
P6 Panel
1) AUTOSLAT NO. 1 DC
2) AUTOSLAT NO. 2 DC
3) SMC-2 CMPTR DC
4) SMC-2 SNSR EXC AC

P18 Panel
1) SMC-1 CMPTR DC
2) SMC-1 SNSR EXC AC

Move the flap control lever to the 1-unit position.
(a)
Make sure that the TE flaps extend to the 1-unit position.
(b)
Make sure that the LE flaps and slats extend.
(c)
Make sure that the green LE FLAPS EXT light on the P2-2 panel comes on.

Autoslat System 1 Test

(1)
Do these steps to do a check of the indicator lights:
(a)
Open the AUTOSLAT NO. 1 DC circuit breaker on the P6 circuit breaker panel.
(b)
Make sure that these lights are off: 1) Left and right MASTER CAUTION (P7 pilots' lightshield) 2) FLT CONT (P7 pilots' lightshield) 3) AUTOSLAT FAIL (P5 overhead panel)
(c)
Push one of the master caution annunciators.
1) Make sure that the AUTOSLAT FAIL light, the FLT CONT light, and the two MASTER CAUTION lights are on.
(d)
Push one of the MASTER CAUTION lights.
1) Make sure that the AUTOSLAT FAIL light, the FLT CONT light, and the two MASTER CAUTION lights are off.
(e)
Close the AUTOSLAT NO. 1 DC circuit breaker on the P6 circuit breaker panel.
