 (r)  Remove electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).
 (s)  Remove the DO-NOT-OPERATE tag from the ELEC 1, HYD PUMPS B
 switch.
 (t)  Remove the DO-NOT-OPERATE tag from the ENG 2 HYD PUMPS B
 switch.
 (u)  Put the ENG 2 HYD PUMP switch (P5 panel) back to the ON
 position.
 (v)  Make sure the ELEC 1, HYD PUMPS SYS B switch is in the ON
 position.
 (w)  Remove the DO-NOT-OPERATE tag from the system B ground
 pressurization module in the rear end of the forward right hand
 air conditioning compartment (next to the wheel well/forward
 end).
 (x)  Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close these circuit breakers:
 1) P6-2 Circuit Breaker Panel
 a) PTU/LG BYP V CONT 1
 b) PTU/LG BYP V CONT 2
 2) P6-11 Circuit Breaker Panel
 a) STBY HYD PUMP NORMAL
 b) ELEC HYD PUMP SYS B
 3) P6-12 Circuit Breaker Panel
 a) STBY HYD PUMP (ALT)
 (y)  Make sure the pressure from hydraulic systems B and Standby are
 released (AMM 27-81-00/201).
 (z)  Remove the lock on the standby hydraulic module (Fig. 201):
 1) Connect the electrical connector to the leading edge
 devices shutoff valve at the standby hydraulic module.
 2) Make sure the override lever at the leading edge devices
 shutoff valve is in position 1 (leading edge flaps and
 slats retracted).
 3) Remove the lock on the shutoff valve.
 4) Remove the lockpin.

 (aa) Set the alternate flap arm switch to ARM.
 (ab) Make sure the standby hydraulic system low pressure light is off.
 (ac) Monitor the leading edge flaps and slats for 60 seconds.
 (ad) Make sure the flaps and slats do not extend.
 NOTE: The leading edge flaps can slowly extend because of
____ gravity.

 (ae) Set the alternate flap arm switch to OFF.
 (af) Remove "DO NOT DRIVE MOTOR ENGINE WITH THE THRUST REVERSER COWLS OPEN" placard from engine start switch, if it is not necessary.
 G. Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition

Procedure


 S 482-033
 (1)  
Install the leading edge flap and slat locks to prevent retraction of the flaps and slats:

 (a)  
Pressurize hydraulic system B (par. 2).

 (b)  
Move the flap control lever to the 10-unit detent to fully extend the leading edge devices.

 (c)  
Release pressure from hydraulic system B (par. 3).


 WARNING: MAKE SURE TO INSTALL THE LEADING EDGE FLAP AND SLAT LOCKS
_______ TO PREVENT ACCIDENTAL OPERATION OF THE LEADING EDGE FLAPS AND SLATS. THE LEADING EDGE FLAPS AND SLATS CAN MOVE QUICKLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
 (d)  Install the leading edge flap and slat locks on the extended leading edge flap and slat actuators.
