(b) Put the flap control lever to the FLAP UP detent.
(c) Make sure that each flap and slat is in the FLAP UP position
and aligned with the wing structure.
(d) Put the flap control lever to the 1-unit detent.
1) Make sure the leading edge flaps extend fully.
2) Make sure the leading edge slats move to the intermediate
position.
(e) Put the flap control lever to the 5-unit detent.
1) Make sure the leading edge flaps and slats do not move.
(f) Put the flap control lever to the 10-unit detent.
1) Make sure the leading edge slats extend fully.
(g) Put the flap control lever to the 5-unit detent.
1) Make sure the leading edge slats retract to the
intermediate position.
(h) Put the flap control lever to the 1-unit detent.
1) Make sure the leading edge flaps and slats do not move.
(i) Put the flap control lever to the FLAP UP detent.
1) Make sure the leading edge flaps and slats retract fully.
(j) Release the pressure from hydraulic system B

LEADING EDGE STANDBY DRIVE SHUTOFF VALVE - MAINTENANCE PRACTICES

1. General_______
A. There are five tasks in this procedure. There is a task for the removal and a task for the installation of the shutoff valve with the valve motor. There is also a task for the removal and a task for the installation of only the valve motor. The fifth task is a test of the shutoff valve.
B. You can replace the valve motor with the shutoff valve installed in the modular package.
C. The leading edge standby drive shutoff valve (referred to as the shutoff valve) and the standby rudder actuator shutoff valve are the same type of valve. The leading edge standby drive shutoff valve is on the right and the standby rudder actuator shutoff valve is on the left of the modular package.
