Put the ALT FLAPS control switch in the OFF position.

1. General_______
A. There are two tasks in this procedure. There is a task for the removal and a task for the installation of the flap hydraulic motor.

(1)
Make sure the pressure is released from the hydraulic reservoir B (Ref 27-51-00/201).

(2)
Disconnect the hydraulic lines from the hydraulic motor:
(a)
Put a container below the hydraulic motor to catch the hydraulic fluid.
(b)
Disconnect the hydraulic lines from the hydraulic motor.
(c)
Install the plugs in the hydraulic lines and the ports.

(3)
Remove the flap hydraulic motor:
(a)
Remove the mounting bolts that attach the flap hydraulic motor to the flap power unit.
(b)
Remove the flap hydraulic motor.
(c)
Install a cover on the flap power unit.
