3. AIRPLANES WITH NON-LUBRICATED BEARINGS; Outboard Foreflap Toggle Bearing Inspection____________________________________________
A. General
(1)
To do this check you measure the radial clearance of the bearings that are attached to the toggle assembly on the sequence carriage.
(2)
You can use the inspection procedure for the toggle bearings to examine the bearings with the foreflap installed on the airplane.

Procedure
S 866-007
(1) Do this task: "Pressurize the A, B, or Standby Hydraulic System" (AMM 29-15-00/201).

WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF THE TRAILING
_______ EDGE FLAPS, THE LEADING EDGE FLAPS AND SLATS AND THE DRIVE MECHANISMS BEFORE YOU MOVE THE FLAP CONTROL LEVER. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(2)
Put the flap control lever in the 2-unit detent to extend the flaps.
(3)
Put the speed brake lever in the UP position to lift the spoilers.
(4)
Install the spoiler actuator locking tools.
