Remove the Flap Deflection Control Plunger (Fig. 401):
(a)
Remove the nut and washers from the outboard end of the plunger.
(b)
Remove the plunger and spring from the bore of the outboard midflap rib assembly.

Install the flap deflection control plunger on the outboard midflap rib assembly (Fig. 401):
(a)
Put the spring on the shaft of the plunger.
(b)
Install the plunger and the spring into the bore of the outboard midflap rib assembly.
(c)
Install the washers and nut onto the outboard end of the plunger.

(AMM 27-51-86/501).Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition

(2) Do this task to pressurize hydraulic system B: "Pressurize Hydraulic System A, B, or Standby" (AMM 29-15-00/201).
