If used parts are installed do this task: "Outboard Foreflap Sequence Carriage Inspection" (Ref 27-51-47/601).

(2)
Install the foreflap sequence carriage (Fig. 401):
(a)
Clean the area on the flap track touched by the rub strips of the sequence carriage.
(b)
Tighten the slider attachment fasteners 20 to 30 pound-inches.
NOTE: Do not exceed 30 pound-inches to install the lockwire
____ in the fastener heads. A 0.020 inch diameter lockwire is optional to the 0.032 inch diameter lockwire at the slider attachment fasteners. Use one washer if needed to acheive bolt torque requirements.
(c)
Make sure the rub strips are not less than the minimum thickness (AMM 27-51-47/601). 1) Install used or new rub strips as necessary.
Bonding the rub strips to the carriage is optional.
(d)
Apply a layer of the grease to the area of the flap track where the rub strips touch.
(e)
Align the sequence carriage with the top flanges of the flap tracks.
(f)
Move the sequence carriage forward of the stop on the flap track.
(g)
Install the aft rollers on the carriage.
(h)
Install the stop on the sequence carriage.
(i)
Do this task: "Outboard Foreflap Carriage Toggle Installation" (Ref Paragraph 5).

Do this task: "Trailing Edge Flap Installation" (Ref 27-51-34/401).

Remove the nuts from the bolts on the toggle.

Remove the three bolts and washers that attach the toggle to the sequence carriage.
(c)
Remove the toggle from the sequence carriage.
