 (1)  Do this task: "Hydraulic System B Pressurization"
 (AMM 29-15-00/201).

 NOTE: Use the electric hydraulic pump or a hydraulic service cart.

 (2)  To do the test of the flap priority valve with the hydraulic service cart:

 WARNING:_______ KEEP PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT CLEAR OF THE FLIGHT CONTROL
 SURFACES, THE THRUST REVERSERS, AND THE LANDING GEAR.  THESE
 COMPONENTS CAN MOVE SUDDENLY WHEN YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER.

 THIS CAN CAUSE INJURIES TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
 (3)  Use a hydraulic service cart to supply system B hydraulic power, do this task: Hydraulic System B Pressurization (AMM 29-15-00/201).
 NOTE: It will be necessary to control the pressure output of
____ the hydraulic service cart.

Move the flap control lever from the UP detent to the 10-unit detent.

Reduce the pressure output from the hydraulic service cart to 2400 psi (16550 kPa).

Do a check of the time necessary to retract the flaps to the 5-unit position:


 NOTE: The flaps will retract slowly with the hydraulic pressure
____ reduced.
 (a)  Move the flap control lever to the 5-unit position.
 NOTE: The flaps can make noise while they retract slowly.

 (b)  
Make sure the time necessary to retract the flaps is a minimum of 60 seconds.

 (c)  
Increase the pressure output from the hydraulic service cart to 3000 psi (20685 kPa).


 NOTE: If the flaps are not in the 5-unit position, they will
____ retract much faster.

 (7)  
Do a check of the time necessary to retract the flaps to the UP position:

 (a)  
Move the flap control lever to the UP position.

To do the test of the flap priority valve with the electric hydraulic pump:

 (a)  
Extend and retract the flaps to let the system B hydraulic fluid become warm.
