 2) 3) 4)  Move the flap control lever to the 40-unit detent to extend the flaps.Do this task: "Depressurize Hydraulic System B" (Ref 27-51-00/201).Disconnect the pushrods and move the aftflap fully forward.
 CAUTION:_______ ADJUST THE TWO STRUTS AT THE SAME TIME. THIS WILL DECREASE THE LOAD ON THE FAIRING SUPPORTS.
 5)  Loosen the nuts on the support struts and turn the couplings to adjust the clearance.
 CAUTION:_______ MAKE SURE THE BOLT HEADS ARE UP. THE BOLTS CAN TOUCH THE MIDFLAP AND THE AFTFLAP. THIS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
 6) 7) 8) 9)  Attach the pushrods to the aftflap with the bolts with the heads up. a) Tighten the nuts and install the cotter pins.Do this task: "Pressurize Hydraulic System B" (Ref 27-51-00/201).Put the flap control lever in the UP detent to retract the flaps.Do this task: "Depressurize Hydraulic System B" (Ref 27-51-00/201).
 (4)  S 485-004On the No. 1 or No. 8 fairing, install the rig pin through the landing light actuating arm (Fig. 502). (a) If you cannot install the rig pin, adjust the length of the pushrod.
 (5)  S 865-005Do this task:  "Pressurize Hydraulic System B" (Ref 27-51-00/201).
 (6)  S 865-006Put the flap control lever in the 40-unit detent to extend the flaps.
 (7)  S 225-007Measure the Dimension B at the aft flight roller (Fig. 501). (a) If the Dimension B is not in the tolerance, adjust the bellcrank clevis arm on the aftflap.
 NOTE:____ The aftflap will move approximately 0.05 inch for each turn of the bellcrank clevis arm.
 (8)  S 865-008Put the flap control lever in the UP detent to retract the flaps.
