A. There are two tasks in this procedure. There is an inspection of the outboard foreflap sequence carriage, and an inspection of the outboard foreflap toggle bearings.

2. Outboard Foreflap Sequence Carriage Inspection______________________________________________
A. General
(1)
To do this check you measure the diameter or the thickness of the parts which attach the sequence carriage.
(2)
You usually do this task before you install a sequence carriage.

Micrometer - 0 to 1 inch

Do this task: "Outboard Foreflap Sequence Carriage Removal" (Ref 27-51-47/401).

Examine the parts which attach the foreflap sequence carriage for worn areas:
(a)
Remove the parts to be examined.
(b)
Measure the parts.
NOTE: Use a micrometer to measure the parts.

(c)
Compare the dimensions you measured with the permitted dimensions shown in Fig. 601.
(d)
Replace the parts which are not in the tolerance.
(e)
Install the parts.
