Tighten the No. 1 and 3 housing bolts to 50-70 pound-inches.

Tighten the No. 2 bolt to 63-77 pound-inches.

Attach the torque tubes to the right angle gearbox (Fig. 401):
(a)
Apply a layer of the grease to the torque tube couplings on the right angle gearbox.
(b)
Engage the torque tube sleeves with the couplings on the gearbox.
(c)
Install the retention screws.
(d)
Install the lockwire on the screws.
(e)
Remove the support from the flaps.
(6)
Supply hydraulic system B power (Ref 27-51-00/201).

(8) S 864-013Put the flap control lever to the UP detent to retract the flaps.

Put the flap control lever in the 40-unit detent to extend the flaps.

Remove the hydraulic system B power (Ref 27-51-00/201).

Disconnect the torque tubes from the flap angle gearbox:
(a)
Install a support to hold the flaps while the torque tubes are disconnected.
(b)
Remove the screws that attach the coupling sleeves for the torque tube to the couplings on the flap angle gearbox.
(c)
Move the coupling sleeves off the couplings to disconnect the torque tubes.

Remove the flap angle gearbox:
(a)
Remove the three bolts that attach the gearbox to the landing gear beam.
(b)
Remove the gearbox from the airplane.
