Remove the bypass valve assembly:
(a)
Remove the fasteners that attach the bypass valve assembly to the structure.
(b)
Remove the bypass valve assembly from the airplane.

Procedure

(1)
Install the bypass valve assembly (Fig. 401):
(a)
Attach the bypass valve assembly to the structure with the fasteners.

(2)
Connect the hydraulic lines to the bypass valve assembly:
(a)
Remove the caps from the hydraulic lines and ports.
(b)
If it is necessary, install the O-rings and unions in the bypass valve: 1) Apply the hydraulic fluid or the assembly lube to the
O-rings. 2) Install an O-ring and a union in each port of the housing.
(c)
Connect the hydraulic lines to the bypass valve assembly.

Connect the electrical connector to the valve motor.

Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition

Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close these circuit breakers:
