Move the flap control lever from the UP detent to the 5-unit position. 1) Make sure the speed of the TE flap drive torque tube


 decreases during the leading edge flap extension.
 2)  Make sure that system B pressure does not show less than 2325 psi for more than 1 second during the TE flaps extension.
 3)  Make sure the speed of the TE flap drive torque tube increases when the leading edge flaps and slats are fully extended.
 4)  Make sure the system B pressure stays between 2325 and 2800 psi while the TE flaps extend to the 5-unit position.
 (c)  Put the flap control lever in the UP detent. 1) Make sure the speed of the TE torque tube decreases during the leading edge flap and slat retraction.
 2)  Make sure the system B pressure does not show less than 2325 psi for more than 1 second during the TE flaps retraction.
 3)  Make sure the speed of the TE torque tubes increases when the leading edge flaps and slats are retracted. 4) Make sure the system B pressure stays between 2325 and 2800 psi while the TE flaps retract to the 0-degree position.

_______ SURFACES BEFORE YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. AILERONS, RUDDERS, ELEVATORS, FLAPS, SPOILERS, LANDING GEAR, AND THRUST REVERSERS CAN MOVE QUICKLY WHEN YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
 (1) Do this task to pressurize hydraulic system B: "Pressurize Hydraulic System A, B, or Standby" (AMM 29-15-00/201).

_______ EDGE FLAPS, THE LEADING EDGE FLAPS AND SLATS AND THE DRIVE MECHANISMS BEFORE YOU MOVE THE FLAP CONTROL LEVER. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
 (2)  
Put the flap control lever in the 40-unit detent to extend the flaps.

Do this task: "Trailing Edge Flap System Deactivation" (AMM 27-51-00/201).

 (4)  
Remove the inboard flap, outboard track fairing tailcone.
