If the valve slide and the index surface do not align in the limit, adjust the trailing edge cam link:
(a)
Remove the lockwire from the cam link.
(b)
Loosen the two checknuts on the cam link.
(c)
Adjust the sleeve until the valve slide and the index surface align in the limit of |0.010 inch.
(d)
Tighten the checknuts and install the lockwire on the cam link.
(e)
Make sure that the threads of the rod end and the sleeve engage in the limits.
(f)
Adjust the rod end if the threads are not engaged in the limits: 1) Remove the bolt from the rod end. 2) Loosen the checknut. 3) Turn the rod end and the sleeve to get the correct
dimension.
4) Install the bolt, washer and nut to attach the rod end.
5) Make sure the valve slide and the index surface align in
the limits.

CAUTION:_______MAKE SURE THE RIG PIN F-1 IS NOT INSTALLED. YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE FLAP CONTROL UNIT WHEN YOU APPLY HYDRAULIC POWER IF THE RIG PIN IS INSTALLED.

Remove the rig pin F-1.

Do this task: "Hydraulic System B Pressurization" (Ref 27-51-00/201).

Put the flap control lever in the 5-unit detent to extend the flaps.

Put the flap control lever in the UP detent to retract the flaps.

Stop for 2 minutes, then do this task: "Hydraulic System B Depressurization" (AMM 27-51-00/201).

Make sure you can install the rig pin F-1 freely in the flap control unit.

If you cannot install the rig pin freely, adjust the trailing edge cam link:
(a)
Remove the lockwire and loosen the two checknuts.
(b)
Remove the rig pin F-1.
(c)
Do this task: "Hydraulic System B Pressurization"
(Ref 27-51-00/201).
CAUTION: DO NOT INSTALL THE RIG PIN F-1 WITH THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM
_______ PRESSURIZED. YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE FLAP CONTROL UNIT IF YOU INSTALL THE RIG PIN WITH THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM PRESSURIZED.
