Do this task: "Inboard Flap Track Fairing Removal" (Ref 27-51-32/401).

Do this task to pressurize hydraulic system B: "Pressurize Hydraulic System" (Ref 27-51-00/201).

WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF THE TRAILING
_______ EDGE FLAPS, THE LEADING EDGE FLAPS AND SLATS AND THE DRIVE MECHANISMS BEFORE YOU MOVE THE FLAP CONTROL LEVER. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(3) Put the flap control lever in the 15-unit detent to extend the flaps.

Do this task to depressurize hydraulic system B: "Depressurize Hydraulic System" (Ref 27-51-00/201).

If the pivot rollers do not align with the access holes in the sides of the foreflap tracks, move the flaps:
(a)
Make sure these circuit breakers are closed:
1) P6-2 Panel a) SHUTOFF VALVES FLT CONT b) ALT TE FLAP DRIVE AC
(b)
Put the ALTERNATE FLAP arm switch in the ARM position.
(c)
Move the ALTERNATE FLAP control switch to UP or DOWN until the pivot rollers and the access holes align.

(6) Remove the bolt that attaches the foreflap to the exhaust gate actuation rod.

CAUTION:_______LOWER THE FOREFLAP TRACKS CAREFULLY TO THE MIDFLAP. THE TRACKS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE MIDFLAP.
(7)
Disconnect the foreflap track from the foreflap:
(a)
Remove the two foreflap attach bolts at each track attach fitting.
(b)
Write down the location and the thickness of the shims.

Remove the foreflap:
(a)
Remove the four pivot rollers from the foreflap cams.
(b)
Remove the foreflap.
