 (c)  Keep the 0.42-inch dimension and adjust the adjustment nuts to get a cable tension of 100 |10 pounds.
 NOTE: The temperature must be approximately 70°F when you
____ adjust the tension. If the temperature decreases, you must decrease the tension. If the temperature increases, you must increase the tension. Do not change the tolerance to more than the 10-pound limit.
 1) Put the tensiometer on the cable between the rig pins and the aft cable adjustment nut. 2) Move the cable away from the boom to install the tensiometer. 3) Release the cable when you adjust the tension.

 INBOARD FLAP TRACKS - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

 1.  General
_______
 A.  There are four tasks in this procedure. There are tasks for the removal and tasks for the installation of the inboard flap tracks.
 B.  There are solid tapered aluminum shims and aluminum anti-fret strips installed on the inboard flap outboard track at the aft support fitting. It is very important to keep the initial thickness of the shims. The installation procedure has instructions for the replacement of damaged or lost shims. If you do not follow the instructions, the flap track can be not aligned.

Do this task: "Flap Track Fairing Removal" (AMM 54-51-01/201).

Do this task: "Inboard Flap Removal" (AMM 27-51-04/401).

Do this task: "Transmission Removal" (AMM 27-51-71/401).

Remove the flap track (Fig. 401):

 (a)
Remove the bolts from the aft support fitting.

 1)  Make sure you do not cause damage to the anti-fret strip or the tapered shim when you remove the track.
 NOTE: The anti-fret strip is bonded to the lower wing
____ surface. The tapered shim is bonded to the top surface of the flap track.
