INBOARD FLAP TOGGLE - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. There are two tasks in this procedure. There is a task for the removal and a task for the installation of a toggle assembly on the inboard flap.
B. You can remove the toggle assemblies for the inboard flaps without the removal of the foreflap.
C. You must remove the forward and the aft cam follower bearings to remove the toggle assembly.
D. There are access holes in the main carriage cams which you use to remove the cam follower bearings.
E. If you will replace the two toggle assemblies on a flap, remove the two toggle assemblies one at a time.

Location Zone 309, 409 Wing Trailing Edge Inboard Flap and Spoilers

Procedure
(1)
Remove the inboard flap track fairing (Ref 27-51-32/401).
(2)
Supply the system B hydraulic power (Ref 27-51-00/201).
(3)
Move the flap control lever to the 15-unit detent.
(4)
Remove the system B hydraulic power (Ref 27-51-00/201).
