Install the bushing in the geneva cam (18).
(c)
Make sure the dimension of the geneva cam is correct for the installation (Detail F).
(d)
Put the geneva cam (18) on the main carriage.
(e)
Install the bolt (44) through the washers (45 and 64), the carriage and the bushing.
(f)
Adjust the shim washers (42) as necessary get the clearance shown in Section F-F.
(g)
Install the washer (41) and the nut (40) on the bolt.
(h)
Tighten the nut to 480-600 pound-inches (54-68 N-m).
(i)
Install the cotter pin.

CAUTION:_______MAKE SURE THAT THE ENDS OF THE SPRINGS ARE FREE TO TURN. THE SPRINGS CAN BE DAMAGED IF THE ENDS CANNOT TURN.
(3)
If it is necessary, install the springs (20) on the geneva cam as shown in Section H-H:
(a)
Install the bushing (59) in the springs (20) and install the flanged bushings (55) in bushings (50).
(b)
Install the bolt (56) through the flanged bushing and the spring support (63).
(c)
Install the washer (61) and the nut (62) on the bolt.
(d)
Install the screw (58) through the bushing (59), the flanged bushings (55), and the spacer (60).
(e)
Install the washer (61) and the nut (62).
(f)
Tighten the nuts (62) to 480-600 pound-inches (54-68 N-m).
(g)
Install the cotter pins.

Connect the pushrod (1) to the geneva cam (Section D-D):
(a)
Install the bushing (7) in the geneva cam.
(b)
Put the pushrod (1) in the geneva cam and install the washer
(9)
between the rod end and the bushing.
(c)
Attach the pushrod with a bolt (26), a washer (27), and a nut (11).
(d)
Tighten the nut to 120 pound-inches (14 N-m).

Make sure the aftflap is attached to the midflap.

Install the midflap crank attach fitting (Detail E, Fig. 401):
(a)
Apply the sealant BMS 5-95 to the threads of the nutplates on the attach fitting (6).
