WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF THE LE AND TE
_______ FLAP AND FLAP DRIVE MECHANISMS BEFORE YOU MOVE THE FLAP CONTROL LEVER. WITH HYDRAULIC POWER REMOVED, THE FLAPS WILL MOVE AUTOMATICALLY BY ELECTRICAL POWER WHEN YOU MOVE THE FLAP CONTROL LEVER.
(2) Put the flap control lever in a position to extend the outboard flaps.
NOTE: Monitor the position of the carriage to find the position

Remove the midflap assembly (AMM 27-51-04/401).

Remove the geneva cam (Fig. 401):
(a)
Disconnect the pushrod (Section H-H): 1) Remove the bolt (67), washer (68 and 70), and nut (71) from
the geneva cam. 2) Remove the pushrod (1) from the geneva cam. 3) Remove the washer (69) and the bushing (72) from the geneva
cam.
(b)
Remove the bolt (52), washer (55), and nut (54), that attach the geneva cam to the carriage (Section F-F).
(c)
Remove the geneva cam.
(d)
Remove the shim washers (51 and 57) and the lubrication washer (56).
(e)
Remove the bushing (53) from the geneva cam.

Remove the bolt (50), washers (48 and 49), and nut (58) (Section F-F).

Remove the bolt (59), washers (60), and nut (64) (Section G-G).
(c)
Remove the roller (62), spacer (63), and lube fitting (61).
(d)
Remove the support pin bolt (65) and washer (66).
(e)
Remove the upstop support fitting (34).
