Inspect the Rollers

(1)
Examine the flight rollers and center toggle roller on the inboard foreflap carriages for worn areas:
(a)
Make sure there are no flat spots on the roller face wider than
0.32 inch (8.1 millimeters).
NOTE: Measure chord-wise along the roller surface.

(b)
If there is a flat spot larger than the limit, replace the worn roller (AMM 27-51-24/401).

Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition.

Provide pressure to hydraulic system No. 1 (AMM 29-11-00/201).

(2)
Put the flap control lever in the UP detent to retract the inboard trailing edge flaps.
(3)
Release the pressure from the hydraulic system (AMM 29-11-00/201).

INBOARD FLAP OUTBOARD TRACK - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General
_______
A. There are two tasks in this procedure. There is one task for the removal and one task for the installation of an inboard flap outboard track.
(1)
The flap track removal has these parts:
(a)
The removal of the inboard flap
(b)
The removal of the inboard foreflap carriage and toggle
(c)
The removal of the flap transmission and ball screw
(d)
The removal of the flap track.
(2)
The flap track installation has these parts:
(a)
A check of the parts which attach the flap track for worn areas
(b)
The installation of the flap track
(c)
The lubrication of the flap track
(d)
The installation of the flap transmission and ball screw
(e)
The installation of the inboard foreflap carriage and toggle
(f)
The installation of the inboard flap.
