OUTBOARD FOREFLAP CARRIAGE AND TOGGLE - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. There are two tasks in this procedure. There is one task for the removal and one task for the installation of an outboard foreflap carriage and toggle. The procedure has these parts:
(1)
The extension of the flaps
(2)
The installation of supports for the foreflap
(3)
The removal of the rollers from the carriage.
(4)
A check of the parts which attach the carriage for worn areas
(5)
The installation of the carriage and toggle
(6)
The lubrication of the carriage
(7)
The removal of the supports from the foreflap
(8)
The retraction of the flaps.

_______ FLAPS AND FLAP DRIVE MECHANISMS BEFORE YOU MOVE THE FLAP CONTROL LEVER. WITH HYDRAULIC POWER REMOVED, THE FLAPS WILL MOVE AUTOMATICALLY BY ELECTRICAL POWER WHEN YOU MOVE THE FLAP CONTROL LEVER.
