NOTE: Make sure the holes in the link pivot pin and the

2) Install the bolt (69), washers (71) and nut (70) through the fitting assembly and link pivot pin (68) and torque to 60-85 pound-inches (6.8-9.6 N-m).

3) Connect the drive rod to the midflap fitting and torque the bolt to 270-300 pound-inches (31-34 N-m). 4) Lubricate the joint at the zerk fittings with BMS 3-33 grease (AMM 12-21-20/301).
NOTE: Make sure you remove any padding from the fairing
____ that may have been used to protect the linkage assembly and the inside of the movable fairing.
(h)
If the movable fairing was removed between the support fitting and the door fitting, adjust the support fitting and the adjustable rod as shown in section C-C.
(i)
If the movable fairing was removed between the support fitting and the door fitting, align the fairing fitting and the support fitting.
(j)
On fairings No. 1 and 8, install the two bolts (25 and 30), washers (26 and 29), bushings (27, 28, and 31) antirotation plate (18) if it is necessary, washers (23 and 32) and nuts (22 and 33).
(k)
On fairings No. 2 and 7, if the movable fairing was removed between the support fitting and the door fitting, install the two bolts (25 and 30), washers (26 and 29), bushings (24, 28, and 31), antirotation plate (18) if it is necessary, washers (23 and 32) and nuts (22 and 33).
(l)
On fairings No. 1 and 8, attach the antirotation plate with a bolt (17), washers (19 and 20) and nut (21) if it is necessary.
(m)
On fairings No. 2 and 7, if the movable fairing was removed between the support fitting and the door fitting, attach the antirotation plate with a bolt (17), washers (57, 58 and 20), and nut (21) if it is necessary.
(n)
Install the bonding jumper (10) between the movable fairing and the hinge.
(o)
Attach the bonding jumper with a screw (11), a washer (12) and a nut (13).

CAUTION: MAKE SURE YOU INSTALLED THE FIXED FAIRING AGAINST THE
_______ BOTTOM SURFACE OF THE WING CORRECTLY WHEN YOU INSTALL THE TIEBOLTS. THE FAIRING CAN BE DAMAGED.
(b)
Install the two tiebolts (3):
1) Make sure the tiebolts are correctly engaged in the bracket.
(c)
Align the two vertical adjustable rods (9) with fairing fittings: 1) Make sure the clearance between the bottom surface of the
wing and the fairing lip is approximately 0.26 inch
(6.6 mm). 2) Adjust the rods if it is necessary. 3) Make sure you can see the rod end threads in the inspection
holes and that the checknuts are tight.
(d)
Attach each rod with a bolt (13), a bushing (14), the washers (11 and 12), and a nut (10): 1) Tighten the nuts to 50-70 pound-inches (5.6-7.9 N-m).
(e)
Align the horizontal adjustable rod with the fairing fitting and the tiebolt: 1) Adjust the rod ends if it is necessary.
(f)
Attach each end of the rod with a bolt, a bushing, the washers and a nut: 1) Tighten the nuts to 50-70 pound-inches (5.6-7.9 N-m).
