(f) Lower the movable fairing from the airplane.
NOTE: Use the guide ropes to make sure the fairing does not

turn in the dolly.

Remove the hinge, if a replacement is necessary (Fig. 403):
(a)
Remove the tiebolt (1), tiebolt lock (2), bolt (3), washer (4), nut (5) washers (59 and 61), nut (60) and two adjustable rods (16) (Section D-D).
(b)
Remove the hinge link and brace with the hinge fitting: 1) Remove the hinge bolt (54), washer (55), washer (41), and
nut (42). 2) Remove the bushing (40) from the hinge fitting.
(c)
Disassemble the hinge fitting and brace: 1) On fairings No. 1 and 8, remove the bolt (7), washers (8) and nut (9).
2) On fairings No. 2 and 7, remove the bolt (7), washers (8 and 56) and nut (9).
