A REPLACEMENT BUSHING CAN HAVE AN OVERSIZE OD TO 0.03 INCH. REAM THE ID TO THE DESIGN LIMITS. THE REPLACEMENT BUSHING MUST HAVE THE SAME INTERFERENCE FIT AS THE ORIGINAL BUSHING.

OUTBOARD FLAP TRACK - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. There are two tasks in this procedure. There is one task for the removal and one task for the installation of the outboard flap track.
(1)
The removal procedure has these parts:
(a)
The removal of the outboard flap and carriage forward bogie
(b)
The removal of the foreflap sequence carriage
(c)
The removal of the flap transmission and ball screw
(d)
The removal of the flap track.
(2)
The installation procedure has these parts:
(a)
A check of the parts which attach the flap track for worn areas
(b)
The installation of the flap track
(c)
The lubrication of the flap track fittings
(d)
The installation of the flap transmission and ball screw
