WARNING: YOU MUST CAREFULLY DO THE STEPS IN THE TASK BELOW TO INSTALL
_______ THE DOOR LOCKS ON THE LANDING GEAR DOORS. THE DOORS CAN CLOSE QUICKLY IF YOU DO NOT INSTALL THE DOOR LOCKS CORRECTLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

Do this task: "Installation of the Door Locks on the Body Landing Gear" (AMM 32-00-30/201).

Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
(a)
P6, Main Power Distribution Panel
1) 6E1, PRI TE FLAP CONT AC
2) 6E2, PRI TE FLAP CONT DC

Remove the Input Lever Assembly
S 034-007
(1) Do this task to remove the torque tube between the inboard flap power package and the support: "Torque Tube Removal" (AMM 27-51-20/401).
NOTE: Do not turn the flap drive system after you remove a torque
____ tube. It will be necessary to do the flap drive system adjustment.

Disconnect the control rods from the inboard and outboard flap power packages (Fig. 401):
(a)
Remove the bolts, washers, nuts, and bushings.

Disconnect the electrical connector.

(4)
Remove the input lever assembly:
(a)
Remove the bolts and washers that attach the housing to the forward bulkhead.
(b)
Remove the bolts, washers, and nuts that attach the housing to the center bulkhead.
(c)
Remove the shims and keep them for the installation.
(d)
Lift the input lever assembly up and outboard. Help the control rod out of the center bulkhead.
