FLAP TRACK TO SIDELOAD FITTING WEAR. MEASURE WITH THE FLAP TRACK FULLY SUPPORTED BY MOUNTING BOLTS. DESIGN LIMITS 0.002 TO 0.045 INCH BETWEEN TRACK AND BEARING WASHER (TRIM THE PLAIN BUSHING IF NECESSARY TO GET THE SPECIFIED GAP). MAXIMUM WEAR 0.060 INCH GAP. MEASURE FROM THE FORWARD SIDE OF THE FLAP TRACK, DUE TO THE TAPERED TOP SURFACE.

THE SUM OF THE CLEARANCES A AND B BETWEEN THE FLAP TRACK AND THE VERTICAL FLANGE OF THE BEARING PLATE HAS A DESIGN TOLERANCE OF 0.01 TO 0.05 INCH. THE MAXIMUM TOLERANCE IS 0.09 INCH.

 A.  There is one task in this procedure, the removal of corrosion from the inboard flap outboard track.

The installation of the foreflap carriage stop.
