C. Procedure

(1) Do this task to pressurize hydraulic system No. 1: "Pressurize Hydraulic Systems" (AMM 29-11-00/201).

WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF THE LE AND TE
_______ FLAPS AND FLAP DRIVE MECHANISMS BEFORE YOU MOVE THE FLAP CONTROL LEVER. WITH HYDRAULIC POWER REMOVED, THE FLAPS WILL MOVE AUTOMATICALLY BY ELECTRICAL POWER WHEN YOU MOVE THE FLAP CONTROL LEVER.

Put the flap control lever in the 30-unit detent to extend the inboard flaps and attach a DO-NOT-MOVE tag.

Do this task to depressurize hydraulic system No./1: "Depressurize Hydraulic Systems" (AMM 29-11-00/201).

Hold the inboard flap track fairing in the extended position.

Remove the attachment fitting (Fig. 401):
(a)
Remove the bolt, washers and nut that attach the pin to the attachment fitting (Section D-D).
(b)
Remove the pin from the fixed drive link.
(c)
Remove the three bolts from each side and the two bolts from the top of the flap track (Section E-E).
(d)
Remove the four bolts and washers from the bottom of the flap track (Section E-E).
(e)
Remove the attachment fitting.
(f)
Remove the shims.

C. Procedure

(1)
Install the support fitting:
(a)
Adjust the support fitting to the length shown (Section I-I).
(b)
Connect the support fitting to the fairing fitting (Section B-B, Fig. 401): 1) Install the bushings in the fairing fitting. 2) Put the support fitting in the fairing fitting. 3) Install the bolts, washers and nuts to attach the support
fitting.
(c)
Connect the support fitting to the fixed drive link (Section C-C, Fig. 401): 1) Install the bushings in the fixed drive link. 2) Install the bolt, washers and nut to attach the support
fitting to the fixed drive link.
(d)
Connect the support fitting to the adjustable rod (Section G-G): 1) Install the bushings in the support fitting. 2) Install the bolt, washers and nut to connect the support
fitting and the adjustable rod.
