2) Remove the nut, the washers and the shims from the pin. 3) Measure and write down the thickness of the shims. 4) Remove the bushings from the bogie.
(c) If you must remove the crane, make sure the flap will not move.

F. Procedure

(1)
Install the forward bogie on the inboard flap (Fig. 402):
(a)
Apply a layer of grease on the bushings.
(b)
Install the bushings in the bogie.
(c)
Install the parts of the bogie, with the shims, and the washers on the airplane.
(d)
Install the support pins with the head away from the center of the flap track.
(e)
Make sure the clearance between the shims and the bushings is in the tolerance shown on Fig. 402.
(f)
Install the washers and the nut on the support pin: 1) Tighten the nuts to 1100-1300 pound-inches (124-147 N-m). 2) Install the bolt and the nut through the nut on the support
pin.
3) Tighten the nut.
