(b)
Make sure that the fixed and movable fairing are aligned in the limits shown on section A-A.
(c)
If the fairings are not aligned in the tolerance, adjust the checknuts on the adjustable rods for the fixed fairing: 1) Tighten the checknuts. 2) Install the lockwire on the checknuts.
(d)
Install the bolts and nuts: 1) Tighten the nuts to 50-70 pound-inches (5.6-7.9 N-m).

(3) Do this task to pressurize hydraulic system No. 4: "Hydraulic System Pressurization" (Ref 29-11-00/201).

CAUTION:_______MONITOR THE FLAP MOVEMENT CAREFULLY. THE FLAPS CAN BE DAMAGED BY INCORRECTLY ADJUSTED COMPONENTS.

Move the flaps and make sure the fairing moves correctly.

(5)
Adjust the seal and the seal retainer on the flap track fairing:
(a)
Make sure the clearance between the seal retainer and the flap is in the limits shown on Section B-B.
(b)
If the clearance is not in the limits, extend the flaps and adjust the seal.

(6)
Put the flap control lever in the UP detent to retract the flaps.
