(b) Remove the support strap from the support fitting.

Remove the clevis rod from the tension tie:
(a)
Remove the bolt, washer and nut that attach the clevis fitting to the tension tie.
(b)
Move the clevis rod away from the flap track.
(c)
Remove the bushing from the clevis rod.

Remove the inboard flap outboard track:
(a)
Remove the two mounting bolts.
(b)
Remove the bushings from the track mounting bolt holes.
(c)
Remove the retainer bolt, nut, washer, and lock cap which attach the plugs.
(d)
Use the spanner wrench adapters to remove the fuse bolt nut.
(e)
Remove the fuse bolt and the washers.
(f)
Remove the flap track from the airplane.
(g)
Attach the bearing plates to the side load fitting.

E. Install the Inboard Flap Outboard Track

(1)
If a new flap track will be installed, do these steps:
(a)
Make sure the foreflap carriage stop is installed.
(b)
If it is not installed, install the foreflap carriage stop: 1) Apply a layer of sealant to the surfaces of the flap track
and the foreflap stop. 2) Put the foreflap stop in its position on the flap track. 3) Apply a layer of sealant to the threads, the shank and the
bottom of the head of the bolts. 4) Install the bolts and the nuts. 5) Tighten the bolts to 510-650 pound-inches (58-73 N-m). 6) Stop for a minimum of 20 minutes. 7) Tighten the bolts again to 510-650 pound-inches
(58-73 N-m). 8) Apply sealant to the bolt heads.

Examine the fuse bolt and the support fitting for worn areas (Ref 27-51-25/601).

Install the bushings and the bearing plates in the wing skin and sideload fittings if they are not installed:
CAUTION: THE PLAIN BUSHINGS MUST NOT EXTEND ABOVE THE WING SKIN.
