Remove the bushing (16) from the midflap crank.

Remove the midflap crank attach fitting (Detail E, Fig. 401):
(a)
On the inboard track, remove the bolts (65), washers (64, 66, and 69), shims (68), and spacers (67 and 70).
(b)
On the outboard track, remove the bolts (72 and 76), washers (71, 73, and 77), shims (75 and 79), and spacers (74 and 78).
(c)
Remove the midflap fitting.
(d)
Measure and write down the thickness of the shims.
