NOTE: It is not necessary to disconnect the actuator rod from the

Remove the pushrod (Section H-H, Fig. 401):
(a)
Remove the bolt (67), washers (68 and 70), and nut (71) from the geneva cam.
(b)
Remove the pushrod from the geneva cam (35).
(c)
Remove the washer (69) and the bushing (72) from the geneva cam.

(a)
Remove the bolt (29), washers (28 and 31), and nut (32) from the aftflap fitting.
(b)
Remove the actuator rod (3) from the aftflap fitting.
(c)
Remove the washer (30) and the bushing (33) from the aftflap fitting.

Remove the midflap crank attach fitting (Fig. 401):
(a)
Remove the bolt (23), washers (22 and 25), and nut (26) to disconnect the fairing drive rod (2) (Section C-C).
(b)
Remove the washer (24) from the fitting.
(c)
On the inboard track, remove the bolts (100, 104 and 116), washers (101, 105 and 115), shims (99 and 103), and spacers (102 and 106) (Detail G).
(d)
On the outboard track, remove the bolts (108 and 114), washers (109, 111 and 113), shims (107), and spacers (110 and 112).
(e)
Remove the midflap fitting.
(f)
Measure and write down the thickness of the shims.
