C. Fuel Interface (Fig. 64)
(1)
Fuel temperature and digital discrete data such as valve position and fuel pump information is received by the EIUs on an ARINC 429 data bus from the Fuel System EICAS Interface Card (FSEIC). Fuel temperature is processed for display on the EICAS primary, compacted and fuel maintenance formats. Valve position and pump data is processed for display on the EICAS fuel synoptic format.

Fuel jettison data such as fuel to remain and jettison time is received by the EIUs on an ARINC 429 digital data bus from the Fuel Jettison Control Cards (FJCC). Fuel to remain is processed for display on the EICAS primary and compacted formats. Jettison time is processed for display on the EICAS fuel synoptic format.

Fuel quantity information is received by the EIUs on ARINC 429 data buses from the Fuel Quantity Processor Units (FQPU). Fuel quantity data is processed for display on the EICAS primary and compacted, and the EICAS fuel synoptic and maintenance formats.
(4)
Analog discrete data such as pump pressure switch signals and valve disagreements are received by the EIUs from the Fuel Systems Card File and as direct analog discrete inputs. This data is processed for display on the EICAS fuel synoptic format.

Hydraulic quantity information is received by the EIUs on ARINC 429 data buses from the Hydraulic Quantity Interface Module (HYQUIM). This data is processed for display on the EICAS hydraulic synoptic and maintenance formats.

Hydraulic information is also received by the EIUs on ARINC 429 data buses from the Hydraulic Interface Module (HYDIM). Digital discrete data such as shut off valve status is processed for display on the EICAS hydraulic synoptic format. Hydraulic pressure and temperature data is processed for display on the EICAS hydraulic synoptic and maintenance formats.

E. Electrical Interface (Fig. 66)

Electrical information is received by the EIU on ARINC 429 data buses from the Bus Control Units (BCUs). Digital discretes are processed for display on the electrical synoptic. Digital signals such as ac and dc volts, ac frequency and IDG outlet/rise temperatures are processed for display on the EICAS electrical maintenance format.
