____ There are three samples of data on the display. Each sample has two lines of 1's and 0's. Bit 32 is the left bit of the first line. Bit 1 is the right bit of the second line.

Put the No. 1 and 3 thrust levers in a thrust position of more than 27 degrees (62.7 degrees TRA).

Put the speed brake lever in the ARMED position.

 (9) Put the thrust levers in the idle position.
 (a) Make sure the speed brake lever moves to the UP position.

 (a) Make sure bit 20 is 1.

Make sure the actuator goes to the retracted position.

On the CDU, make sure bit 20 is 0.

 AURAL WARNING SYSTEM - DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION

 1.  General (Fig. 1 and 2)_______
 A.  The aural warning system provides easily distinguishable visual (master warning and greenband indicating lights) and audible signals to warn the flight crew of unsafe or abnormal flight conditions. It also performs the auxiliary function of gaining the attention of the flight crew for the purpose of communication.
 B.  The primary functions also include control activation of the Master Warning lights, processing for the speed tape display of the Primary Flight Display (PFD) of the IDS, processing for the Pitch Limit Indication (PLI) function of the PFD,generation and control of warning, caution and advisory level aural alerts, perform signal consolidation functions and generates tail number indentification data.
 C.  Warnings are provided for the following: abnormal takeoff and landing condition, excessive airspeed, autopilot disconnect, altitude alert, windshear, ground prox, stall warning, speed brake, resettable and non-resettable configuration warning, cabin pressure and fire detection condition in the engines, APU, wheel wells, or lower cargo compartments.
 D.  Call signals are provided for the following: receipt of a selective call (selcal) signal from the communications equipment; receipt of a call signal from an attendant or from the ground crew station.
