(2) Install the display select panel:
(a)
Remove the dust caps from the electrical connector(s).
(b)
Examine the electrical connector(s) for loose, bent, or broken pins.
(c)
Connect the electrical connector(s) to the panel.
(d)
Put the panel carefully into the P10 panel.
(e)
Install the screws into the select panel through the bottom of the P10 panel.

(3) Close these circuit breakers and remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
(a) P7, Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel
1) 7F9, EIU L
2) 7F10, EIU C
3) 7F15, EIU R

Do a test of the EICAS display select panel:
(a)
Push the STAT switch on the panel.
(b)
Make sure the auxiliary EICAS display shows the status page.
(c)
Push the DRS switch.

Make sure the auxiliary EICAS display shows the door synoptic page.

DISPLAY TRANSFER MODULE - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. This subject has two tasks. The first task is to remove the display transfer module. The second task is to install the display transfer module. The installation task includes a test of the installation of the module.
B. The captain's display transfer module is on the captain's instrument panel (P1 panel). The first officer's display transfer module is on the first officer's instrument panel (P3 panel).
C. Each module has one connector for its electrical interface.

(1) Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
(a) P7, Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel
1) 7F9, EIU L
2) 7F10, EIU C
3) 7F12, ND L
4) 7F13, PFD L
5) 7F14, LWR EICAS
6) 7F15, EIU R
7) 7F17, ND R
8) 7F18, PFD R

(2) Remove the display transfer module:
(a)
Remove the screws from the front of the module.
(b)
Pull the unit carefully until you can get access to the electrical connector(s) on the rear of the module.
(c)
Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the module.
(d)
Install dust caps on the electrical connector(s).
