Selected VOR course is displayed by a pointer which rotates around the fixed airplane symbol. This selected course is also displayed digitally in the upper, right corner.

Course deviation indication is provided by a deviation bar displaced on a dot scale. The dot scale is orthogonal to the selected course pointer and rotates about the airplane reference symbol.
(a)
The course deviation bar is displaced from the center of the pointer to indicate the difference between the input VOR omnibearing and the selected course. Full scale deflection corresponds to 11.6 degrees course deviation.
(b)
The polarity of the deflection results in a "fly to" indication to achieve the selected course.
(4)
A TO/FROM indication is provided by the label "TO" or "FROM" for the expanded format, and by a pointer for the full rose format.
(5)
The upper, right corner contains the decoded identifier for the tuned VOR if a valid ground identifier is received.
(a) If a valid identifier is not received, then the identifier will be replaced by the tuned frequency.
